Description: The official Round 10.0 Regional Activity Centers map approved by the COG Board on May 14, 2025 marked the location of each approved Regional Activity Center with a symbolic half-mile circle. These circles have no analytic value and are only intended to show the approximate location of a Regional Activity Center. Generally, the center of a symbolic half-mile circle is the center of its Analysis Area. In some instances, the location of a circle has been adjusted slightly, to avoid overlapping and increase map legibility. The circles were designed to be viewed at the regional scale, and should not be displayed at the neighborhood scale.

Copyright Text: The selection of Round 10.0 Regional Activity Centers (RACs) was led by the Planning Directors Technical Advisory Committee (PDTAC) and was undertaken by staff of the Department of Community Planning and Services (DCPS) within the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG). The project began in December 2024, and concluded with the PDTAC unanimously approving the selection of 145 Regional Activity Centers during its March 2025 committee meeting. The COG Board of Directors adopted the Round 10.0 Regional Activity Centers on May 14, 2025.
